AI SDR Pricing: Plans, Contracts and Real Cost per Meeting
AI SDR pricing ranges from about $199 a month on month-to-month plans to several thousand dollars a month on annual contracts. The sticker price is only part of the cost: add setup time, a sending domain, data and review hours, then divide by booked meetings to get the number that matters.
Published prices side by side
The figures below come from vendor-published prices as summarised in BusinessMCP’s Artisan comparison, which states they were verified on 15 August 2026. BusinessMCP is a competitor to the others listed, so verify each price on the vendor’s own site, because plans change.
| Product | Published price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| BusinessMCP AI SDR (Scale) | $199/month, 300 prospects/month included | Month-to-month |
| AiSDR | Tiers from $250/month | As published by vendor |
| Artisan (Ava) self-serve | $600/month, 30k data credits | Billed annually ($7,200/year) |
| Artisan typical deals | About $1,000-$3,000+/month, reportedly higher tiers $5,000+ | Quoted, annual |
| 11x | From $3,750/month | Billed annually |
BusinessMCP’s own AI SDR page also gives a realistic cost range of $199 to $499 a month and lists a free plan, without describing what the free plan contains. Its pricing page is the place to confirm current terms.
Three pricing structures to recognise
Flat monthly plan with a prospect allowance. You pay a fixed fee and get a number of prospects per month. Easy to budget, but check what happens if you exceed it.
Annual contract. Lower headline monthly price or enterprise features, but you are committed for twelve months before you know whether outbound works for you.
Credits. You buy data or action credits, which can drain faster than expected when enrichment and verification each consume some. Ask what an average meeting costs in credits.
Key takeaway: A monthly plan lets you stop when the numbers disappoint. An annual contract turns a bad experiment into a twelve-month liability. Prefer flexibility until you have your own meeting data.
Costs outside the subscription
Several costs sit beside the plan:
- Sending domain. Best practice, repeated in vendor guides, is to send from a separate domain rather than your main one. That domain costs money and warm-up time.
- Email validation. Some products verify addresses in-house; others expect a separate validator.
- CRM. BusinessMCP includes one. Some alternatives sync to your existing CRM, which you already pay for.
- Human review time. If you approve every send, as BusinessMCP’s page encourages at the start, that is hours each week.
- Setup. Defining your ICP, offer and booking flow takes real thought regardless of the tool.
The do-it-yourself route multiplies these. BusinessMCP’s build guide estimates subscription totals of roughly $250 to $1,400 a month plus the labour of building and maintaining it. See build vs buy.
Working out cost per meeting
Use a simple formula over a full month:
- Add the subscription, domain, data, validation and tool costs.
- Add review and management hours multiplied by an hourly value.
- Divide the total by the number of qualified meetings that actually took place.
An example with invented numbers, only to show the arithmetic: if a plan costs $199, other tools cost $50, and you spend four hours at $50 an hour reviewing drafts, the monthly cost is $449. Three held meetings would mean about $150 each. These figures are illustrative, not typical results.
Then compare that to what a meeting is worth. If one in five meetings becomes a customer worth several thousand dollars, a $150 meeting may be excellent; if your average customer is worth a few hundred, it will not be. The ROI walkthrough covers this in more detail.
What a human SDR costs, for context
BusinessMCP’s guide quotes $60,000 to $90,000 a year fully loaded for a human SDR. That figure is a vendor benchmark, not a market survey, but it shows why even mid-priced software looks cheap by comparison. The honest comparison, though, is cost per meeting rather than salary against subscription, because a person also handles calls and conversations software does not. See AI SDR vs human SDR.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Is billing monthly, and can I cancel at any time?
- What exactly is included in the free or entry plan?
- What happens when I pass the prospect or credit limit?
- Are sending domains, warm-up and validation included?
- Do I keep my contacts and data if I leave?
- Is the price shown the price after discounts that expire?
Reading comparison pages critically
Most price tables, including the sources here, are written by a vendor with something to sell. Look for the verification date, check whether the comparison names features the competitor lacks and whether it admits its own gaps. BusinessMCP’s page does list its limits, including no AI calling and a smaller integration marketplace, which is a good sign, but a good sign is not independent verification. Cross-check with each vendor’s pricing page and with a short trial before relying on any table.

Negotiating and testing before you commit
Even published prices are often negotiable at the enterprise end, and almost never at the self-serve end. If you are looking at an annual plan, ask for a paid pilot of one to three months on a defined segment, with a clear success metric such as qualified meetings held, and an agreement that the pilot fee credits toward the annual price if you continue. Vendors with confidence in their product often agree, and the answer tells you something either way.
For monthly plans, the right test is shorter and simpler. Start on the lowest plan that covers your first batch, run a segment you understand, approve every message and measure for four to six weeks. Resist upgrading in the first month because a dashboard looks busy. Upgrade when you have data showing the next tier would pay for itself in meetings.
Keep a simple cost log from day one: subscription, domain and mailbox fees, tool add-ons, and hours spent reviewing. Without it you cannot calculate cost per meeting honestly, and you will tend to forget the time you spend, which is usually the largest cost. A spreadsheet with six columns is enough, and the ROI method shows how to use it.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an AI SDR cost per month?
Published plans in the comparisons we cite run from $199 a month (BusinessMCP Scale) to $3,750 a month and up (11x, billed annually). Quote-only deals can cost more.
Is there a free AI SDR?
Some vendors offer a free plan to explore. BusinessMCP’s page lists one but gives no details, so check what it includes.
Do AI SDR prices include email infrastructure?
Not always. A separate sending domain, email validation and CRM may be extra depending on the product.
What is a good cost per meeting?
It depends on deal size and close rate. Compare cost per booked meeting to the value of a meeting for your business rather than to an industry average.
